Dany Engobo is from the Democratic Republic of Congo. So is the music and the dance. These girls come from various part of Africa and the west indies. They mostly reside in Paris, France. They learned those moves and steps from the Congolese women dancers and they do a pretty good job at it. 90% of the most popular dances in Africa are created in the Congo, they then make their way around Africa to Europe. Only in America, it hasn't reached it full potential yet the way it has in Europe.
