"Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough" was the first short film of Michael Jackson's solo career, filmed in 1979 for the No. 1 hit single from 'Off the Wall.' "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough," directed by Nick Saxon, was the jumping off point for the elaborate and groundbreaking "short films" Michael would go on to create throughout his career.“

THE SHORT FILM“
Director: Nick Saxon“
Although all of Michael Jackson's music videos are referred to as short films, the short films for Off the Wall, Michael's first solo album for Epic Records, are more classic "music videos," as they are performance clips rather than scripted stories. Michael's short film for "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough" was the first of the three short films produced for recordings from that album. The single reached No. 1 in eight countries in 1979, topping Billboard's Hot 100, Hot Soul Singles and Hot Disco Singles charts as well as the Cash Box Top 100.“

"Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough" was certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America on November 29, 1979, and Platinum on February 14, 1989. The song won Michael his first solo Grammy Award for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance in 1980, as well as his first American Music Award for Favorite Single (Soul/R&B). "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough" was ranked No. 9 on the 100 Best Songs of the '70s by NME and No. 16 on VH1's list of 100 Greatest Dance Songs.“

"That song means a lot to me because it was the first song I wrote as a whole," Michael wrote in his 1988 memoir Moonwalk. "'Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough' was my first big chance, and it went straight to Number One. It was the song that won me my first Grammy. Quincy had the confidence in me to encourage me to go into the studio by myself, which I appreciated."“

The short film featured Michael in performance against a dazzling background of geometric shapes and patterns. Wearing a tuxedo similar to his outfit on the Off the Wall album cover, Jackson sings and dances to the song, at one point even dancing with two other clones of himself, achieved through the magic of special effects. “

Slade - Far far away 1975 I've seen the yellow lights go down the Missisippi
I've seen the bridges of the world and they're for real
I've had a red light of the wrist
Without me even gettin' kissed
It still seems so unreal
I've seen the morning in the mountains of Alaska
I've seen the sunset in the east and in the west
I've sang the glory that was Rome
And passed the hound dog singer's home
It still seems for the best
And I'm far, far away
With my head up in the clouds
And I'm far, far away
With my feet down in the crowds
Lettin' loose around the world
But the call of home is loud
I've seen the Paris lights from high upon Montmartre
And felt the silence hanging low in no mans land
And all those spanish nights were fine
It wasn't only from the wine
It still seems all in hand
And I'm far, far away
With my head up in the clouds
And I'm far, far away
With my feet down in the crowds
Lettin' loose around the world
But the call of home is loud
Still is loud
I've seen the yellow lights go down the Missisippy
The grand Bahama island stories carry on
And all those arigato smiles
Stay in your memory for a while
There still seems more to come
And I'm far, far away
With my head up in the clouds
And I'm far, far away
With my feet down in the crowds
Lettin' loose around the world
But the call of home is loud
Still is loud
And I'm far, far away
With my head up in the clouds
And I'm far, far away
With my feet down in the crowds
And I'm far, far away
But the sound of home is loud
Still is loud

Mother Earth is the new anthem for tree huggers... as they jokingly call this form of messaging about our world through music or other formats.

80 EM on the drums ladies and gentlemen

Whoop!! Whoop

Dear Mother Earth

I've been thinking about you
I know this conversation's long overdue
I've been meaning to ask like, what's with the
Storms on the news?

Pretty sure I speak for many, when I say
That we're confused! Sometimes, It's cold
Sometimes it even rains in the summer.
The blocks flooded! Different families doing the runner!
One mother's focus is to save her only boy, raise
A sun up! In the water, you see her tears of joy
When his head come up.
Greta Thunberg tried to tell us
She even fought with Trump
It's like the warning right before
The people missed Noah's Ark
Electric cars on the streets is just
A piece of what you want
Reserves running empty
You would think we eat 'em for lunch
We'll give you what you need,
Give the people what they want
Destroying the habitat we livin' in, we shant!
Somebody burning down the forest, that's not
The model you want

You've been making the weather
A lot of weird, a lot of these months
I understand, It's a lot going on
I'm not even trying to blame you
Nah, I'm not trying to blame you
I mean, you know the world is a big screw up
When the Turtles move house and
End up living in the sewer
Waterways contaminated, couldn't contain it
I guess we're just destructive men! The truth ain't it

Solar Power, pretty sunshine, give me some energy
And even though we're different, we connect, same entity
I don't want no fear for what the weatherman says
We should co-exist and get along! Good friends

Gotta be honest with the kids
About the real birds and the bees
Like why? All of a sudden, the weather's never at ease
And Groot cannot be the only one rooting for the trees
It's like, we're waiting for a savior but
We're the one's holding the keys!
Mother Earth

Mother Earth, Mother Earth
Dear Mother Earth
Mother Earth, Mother Earth
Dear Mother Earth
Mother Earth, Mother Earth

I thought love was only true in fairytales Meant for someone else but not for me Love was out to get me That's the way it seemed Disappointment haunted all my dreams
Then I saw her face, now I'm a believer Not a trace of doubt in my mind I'm in love, I'm a believer I couldn't leave her if I tried
I thought love was more or less a givin' thing Seems the more I gave the less I got What's the use in trying? All you get is pain When I needed sunshine I got rain
Then I saw her face, now I'm a believer Not a trace of doubt in my mind I'm in love, I'm a believer
I couldn't leave her if I tried
Love was out to get me Now that's the way it seemed Disappointment haunted all my dreams
Oh then I saw her face, now I'm a believer Not a trace of doubt in my mind I'm in love, I'm a believer I couldn't leave her if I tried
Yes I saw her face, now I'm a believer Not a trace of doubt in my mind Said I'm a believer, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah (I'm a believer) (I'm a believer) Said I'm a believer, yeah (I'm a believer) Said I'm a believer, yeah (I'm a believer) Suggested by LDS Michael McIntyre On Christmas | Michael McIntyre
